NNE Forests is a nature-based solution platform that restores degraded land through native forests. Our community-driven model improves biodiversity, sequesters carbon, and supports sustainable rural livelihoods.

OUR FRAMEWORK
Local people are trained and employed for planting, maintenance, and protection. This generates rural employment and builds long-term ownership and stewardship of forests.
We reduce paddy stubble burning by engaging farmers in forest creation. Native tree plantations purify air and offer a cleaner, sustainable alternative to traditional crop residue disposal.
Using drip irrigation, forests are grown with minimal water usage. Over time, the forest ecosystem restores the water table and enhances soil moisture retention naturally.
Leaf litter and mulch from native plants improve soil texture and organic carbon. Root structures reduce erosion, while nitrogen-fixers naturally enrich degraded land.
OUR INITIATIVESCarbon sink is directly linked to plant biomass. Our high-biomass plantations maximize carbon capture both above and below the ground. With 85% of our forest made up of top biomass-producing species, NNE Forest ensures the highest carbon sequestration per acre.
After five years, the forest will capture up to 800 tons of CO₂ annually, contributing powerfully to global climate goals.
